ASTM A572 grade 50 seamless welded carbon steel pipe adopts niobium vanadium microalloying design (C ≤ 0.23%), with a yield strength of ≥ 345MPa, combining high strength and excellent cold bending performance. Its hot rolling process ensures that the wall thickness tolerance is controlled within ± 12.5%, which is suitable for high-pressure fluid transportation and structural support scenarios. During welding, it needs to be preheated to above 150 ℃ to avoid cold cracks.
A572 grade 50 carbon steel pipe is widely used in petroleum pipelines, building steel structures, and hydraulic systems of engineering machinery, with a fatigue life that is about 30% longer than that of ordinary Q355B material. The American standard ASTM A6/A6M requires ovality to be ≤ 1%, and ultrasonic testing must be used to ensure the quality of the weld seam.
Domestic projects can use Q355D to replace non pressure bearing parts, but the original model must be strictly used when API/ASME certification is involved. When storing, avoid stacking and regularly check the condition of the anti rust coating.
