API 5L grade X60 seamless carbon steel pipe for oil

API 5L X60 is the standard grade for seamless carbon steel pipes used in oil and gas transportation, with a yield strength of ≥ 415MPa and a C-Mn composition design (C ≤ 0.26%, Mn ≤ 1.40%). API 5L grade X60 steel pipe is produced through hot rolling process and meets the PSL2 standard with an impact energy of -20 ℃ ≥ 40J, and undergoes strict ultrasonic testing.

The typical outer diameter range is 114-1420mm, with a wall thickness of 6-40mm, suitable for oil and gas transportation environments below 300 ℃. API 5L grade X60 PSL2 level requires stricter dimensional tolerances (± 0.75% for outer diameters ≥ 60mm) and chemical composition control, and is commonly used in long-distance high-pressure pipeline construction.
