
A387 Gr11 is a chromium-molybdenum alloy pressure vessel steel plate, containing Cr 1.0%-1.5% and Mo 0.45%-0.65%, specially designed for high temperature and high pressure conditions. Its tensile strength in normalized + tempered state (CL2) is 515-690MPa, and its yield strength is ≥310MPa. It can be used for a long time in a hydrogen environment at 350-480℃.
A387 Gr11 steel plate has excellent resistance to hydrogen embrittlement and sulfide corrosion, and is suitable for key equipment such as petrochemical hydrogenation reactors and synthesis towers. The domestic corresponding grade is 14Cr1MoR, which requires special welding materials and a preheating process of ≥150℃.
The smelting needs to be LF refined and vacuum degassing treated, and an ultrasonic flaw detection report and a third-party performance test certificate are required upon delivery. Its bainite + ferrite structure ensures structural stability at high temperatures.
