What is the difference between Q195 and SPCC steel

The difference between Q195 and SPCC steel: the plasticity of SPCC steel is better, and the hardness of Q195 steel is higher than that of SPCC.

SPCC: cold rolled carbon steel sheet and strip for general use, equivalent to Q195-215A grade in China. Where "S" stands for steel and "P" stands for plate. The third C is the abbreviation of cold, and the fourth C is common.

"SPCC" was originally the name of "cold rolled carbon steel sheet and strip for general use" in Japanese standard (JIS).

Now many countries or enterprises use it to express the same kind of steel they produce. For example, China's Q / BQB402 standard is equivalent to SPCC steel.

SPCC steel composition: C ≤ 0.10, Si ≤ 0.05, Mn ≤ 0.50, P ≤ 0.035, S ≤ 0.025.
Q195 steel composition: C: 0.06 - 0.12, Si ≤ 0.30, Mn: 0.25 - 0.50, S ≤ 0.050, P ≤ 0.045.
