What is the difference between ordinary carbon steel Q235A and Q235B

Q235A and Q235B are carbon steel. In the national standard GBT700, the material differentiation of Q235A and Q235B is mainly in the carbon content of steel, the carbon content of Q235A is between 0.14-0.22%; the material of Q235B is subject to temperature impact test, V-notch.

In contrast, the mechanical properties of Q235B steel are much better than that of Q235A steel. In general, the steel mill marks the finished profiles on the signboard before they leave the factory. Users can judge whether the material is Q235A, Q235B or other materials on the signboard.
