What are the applications of 30# steel

Compared with low carbon steel, 30# steel has higher strength and hardness, and has better toughness and weldability. 30# steel is mostly used in the normalizing state, and it can also be quenched and tempered.

Heat treatment process of 30# steel:

30# steel has good cutting performance. It is suitable for the use of hot forging, hot pressing and cutting methods to manufacture parts with small cross-section and low stress, working temperature ≤ 150℃, such as screw rods, tie rods, shaft keys, rings, gears, sleeves, etc.
