What is the LR AH36 shipbuilding steel plates welding performance

ABS class shipbuilding steel plate contains two kinds as common strength and high strength ship plate according to different yield and tensile strength.Common strength shipbuilding plates Grade A, B, D, E and F are mainly used to contribute hull of ship,and high strength shipbuilding plate are mainly built the cranes of bulk and breaker ships in low temperature surroundings. Tata Steel Europe plans to cut 1250 jobs. Henrik Adam, CEO of Tata Steel, said: "the financial situation of Tata Steel Europe is very serious at present, and there is an urgent need to improve the company's performance and financial situation." Tata Steel has decided LR AH36 shipbuilding steel plates in November 2019 to cut 3000 jobs in its European operations to reduce costs. After a period of negotiations with the European labour Commission, the layoff plan cut that number by more than half, minimizing unemployment. Tata Steel has about 20000 employees in Europe.

After the steel plate is produced from the original factory, it will pass through a series of transportation and storage links and then be delivered to the processing workshop. During this period of time, the steel plate surface will contact with the air continuously, which will inevitably produce a layer of oxide skin. The oxide skin is a difficulty in the treatment process. It has high melting point, is not easy to burn and dissolve, increases preheating time, reduces cutting speed. Therefore, the surface of the LR AH36 shipbuilding steel plates plate should be derusted before cutting.

It is reported that Hoa Phat's current LR AH36 shipbuilding steel plates production capacity is 8 million tons/year. In 2021, the company plans to produce 5 million tons of construction steel and billets, 2.7 million tons of hot-rolled coils, 920,000 tons of steel pipes and 300,000 tons of coated sheets.
