Vietnam makes final anti-dumping decision on Malaysian H-beam products

On August 18, 2021, the Ministry of industry and trade of Vietnam issued resolution 1975 / qd-bct, making a positive and final anti-dumping ruling on H-section steel and other steel products originating in Malaysia (Vietnamese: s ả NPH ẩ mth é pH ì nhch ữ h), and decided to formally impose an anti-dumping duty on the products involved, with a tax rate of 10.64% and a validity period of 5 years. The Vietnamese tax numbers of the products involved are 7216.33.11, 7216.33.19, 7216.33.90, 7228.70.10 and 7228.70.90.

On August 24, 2020, the Ministry of industry and trade of Vietnam issued resolution 2251 / qd-bct to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on H-beam and other steel products originating in Malaysia. According to Announcement No. 1162 / qd-bct of the Ministry of industry and trade of Vietnam on April 2, 2021, Vietnam imposed a temporary anti-dumping duty of 10.2% on Malaysian H-section steel products.
