The hot-rolled coil market prices in North China continued to rise this week, with a large increase, but the price fell on Friday, so the price was not much different from last week. The largest price increase in Shijiazhuang was 60 yuan/ton. The price of A36 hot-rolled coil in Tianjin has dropped by RMB 20/ton from last week. The price of A36 hot-rolled coil in Tangshan area was unchanged from last week, while the price of hot-rolled coil in Handan area increased by RMB 30/ton from last week. The price of ASTM A572 hot-rolled coil in Beijing rose by RMB 20/ton from last week.

From a month-on-year perspective, the price of hot coils in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei increased by RMB 320-390/ton from the previous month. From a year-on-year perspective, the price of hot coils in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region was 960-1080 yuan/ton higher than the same period last year. Hot roll prices in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region fluctuated sharply this week, and market sentiment is improving. Although social and on-site inventories have accumulated slightly, they do not constitute a major impact for the time being. Traders have weak transactions. On the whole, the price of hot-rolled coils in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is expected to rise slightly next week.
