Introduction to Cr12MoV steel plate:
Cr12MoV is a cold working mold steel, which is referred to as the national standard, and the German standard is called X165CrMoV12. The hardenability, hardness, wear resistance, and strength of Cr12MoV steel after quenching and tempering are higher than those of Cr12. Cr12MoV steel is used to make various cold stamping molds and tools with complex shapes and heavy working conditions, such as piercing dies, trimming dies, rolling dies, deep drawing dies for steel plates, circular saws, standard tools and gauges, and thread rolling dies.

Specification for heat treatment of Cr12MoV steel plate:
Heat treatment specifications:
1. Quenching, 950-1000℃ oil cooling;
2. Quench at 1020℃, temper at 200℃ for 2h.

General quenching and tempering specifications:
Quenching temperature: 1000-1050℃, quenching oil or gas, hardness ≥ 60HRC; Tempering temperature 160-180℃, tempering time 2h, or tempering temperature 325-375℃, tempering times 2-3 times.

Delivery status of Cr12MoV steel plate: Generally, the delivery is in the annealed state, and the cold work mold steel can also be delivered in the pre hardened state upon request of the demander.
