DH690 structural steel plate is a steel plate with a thickness of not more than 150mm for ships, fishing boats and marine engineering structures in ocean-going, coastal and inland navigation areas. For DH690 steel plates with Z-direction requirements, add Z25 and Z35 to the suffix.

The size, shape, weight and allowable deviation of ship plate DH690 shall comply with the regulations of GDH690/T709, and the deviation under thickness is -0.3mm.

DH690 steel plate is usually delivered in quenched and tempered, normalized, thermomechanical rolled + tempered state.

C≤0.21, Si≤0.55, Mn≤1.7, P≤0.025, S≤0.025, N≤0.02
The added alloying elements and grain refinement elements Al, Nb, V, Ti shall comply with the relevant standards approved by the classification society or recognized.

The crack susceptibility coefficient Pcm should be calculated by the formula instead of carbon equivalent, and its value should meet the standards approved by the classification society.

Non-destructive testing of DH690 steel plates:
The Z-direction steel plate shall be subjected to ultrasonic flaw detection, and the flaw detection level shall be indicated in the contract.

According to the requirements of the buyer, other steel plates can also be subjected to non-destructive testing by agreement between the supplier and the buyer.
