Inconel 800 alloy steel has a tensile strength of 450-600 MPa, a yield strength of 180-300 MPa, and an elongation ≥30% at 300℃. Its high-temperature strength originates from a nickel-chromium-iron matrix and titanium/aluminum reinforcing phases; aging treatment can increase the yield strength by 20%.
Inconel 800 alloy still maintains a tensile strength of 350 MPa at 600℃, and a creep strength of approximately 80 MPa after 1000 hours at 700℃. The austenitic structure and low coefficient of thermal expansion (13.4 × 10⁻⁶/K) jointly ensure high-temperature stability.
The mechanical properties of Inconel 800 alloy steel can be optimized through heat treatment: solution treatment (rapid cooling at 980-1040℃) improves plasticity, and aging treatment (holding at 700-800℃ for 16 hours) enhances strength. Heat input must be controlled during welding to avoid grain coarsening.
