ASTM A572 grade 50 hot rolled steel plate adopts controlled rolling and controlled cooling process, with a thickness range of 3-100mm, yield strength ≥ 345MPa, carbon content ≤ 0.23%, and excellent weldability. The roughness Ra of the surface oxide skin after phosphorus removal by high-pressure water is ≤ 12.5 μm, which is particularly suitable for the manufacturing of wear-resistant lining plates for construction machinery and load-bearing components for bridges.

A572 grade 50 material achieves fine grain strengthening through Nb-V microalloying, with a low-temperature impact energy of ≥ 27J at -29 ℃. It is recommended to use nitrogen protection during laser cutting and control the cutting speed at 4-6m/min to avoid hardness fluctuations in the heat affected zone.

Storage should maintain a relative humidity of ≤ 60%, and anti slip pads should be placed between layers during stacking. It is recommended to perform sandblasting treatment (Sa2.5 level) after processing to enhance the adhesion of the anti-corrosion coating.
