API 5L X60 SSAW spiral steel pipe

API 5L X60 SSAW spiral steel pipe is a pipeline steel pipe produced using spiral submerged arc welding technology, with a yield strength of ≥ 415MPa, mainly used in the field of oil and gas transportation. Its typical specifications are an outer diameter of 219-3000mm and a wall thickness of 5-25mm. It forms a continuous spiral weld through double-sided submerged arc welding and has good compressive and deformation resistance.

When implementing the PSL2 standard, the API 5L X60 steel pipe must meet the -20 ℃ low-temperature impact requirement (≥ 40J) and be made of X60 grade carbon manganese steel (C ≤ 0.12%, Mn ≤ 1.60%). Its spiral forming process enables the pipe to have better radial external pressure stability, making it suitable for the construction of long-distance high-pressure transmission pipelines.
