Screw Jack Filter Press

Screw jack filter press is also called manually filter press, which is suitable for small-scale wastewater treatment or laboratory. It uses screw jack as hold-down gear, which is easy-to-operate and needn’t power supply.

Product Introduction

Screw jack filter press is a kind of intermittent pressure filter. Compact structure, easy operation and maintenance, and wide range of application make it become the ideal equipment for small-scale wastewater treatment. It consists of rack section, filtration part and pressing part.

Working principle

During working process, you should turn the hand wheel. And the pinion and rack wheel will drive lead screw to push keep plate. In this way, filter plates and filter cloth between push plate and thrust plate will be closely pressed and form filter chambers. Slurry or suspension pumped into filter press will finish solid liquid separation in these chambers. Solid materials become filter cakes, which can provide convenience for later treatment. And liquid can be recycled or discharged.

The rack part is welded with high-strength steel. Its surface adopts antiseptic treatment. Therefore, the screw jack filter press has high strength, stable structure and long service life.
The filter plates are made up of reinforced polypropylene, which can endure higher pressure and is not easy to jam.
It doesn’t use electricity and is easy to operate.
