Oil station fuel dispenser

The fuel dispenser is a fuel metering device that directly refuels a motor vehicle. It forms a complete oil supply system with oil tanks, pipelines, pipe fittings and valves. The fuel dispenser is composed of the four major assemblies of the oil pump, the oil-air separator, the meter, and the counter, as well as some other components such as the motor and the oil gun. Any type of fuel dispenser can be regarded as composed of this large assembly and other simple components.

There are many types of fuel dispensers used in gas stations, ranging from mechanical and electronic to computer automatic fuel dispensers. The flow rate of the fuel dispenser can be divided into 50-60 liters/min and 80-90 liters/min. Small-flow fuel dispensers are suitable for refueling cars and vans; large-flow fuel dispensers are suitable for refueling large passenger cars and container trucks. The basic structure (mechanical transmission part) of various fuel dispensers is the same. The difference between the mechanical type and the electronic type lies in the difference of the digital display device. The electronic type can be used in conjunction with a microcomputer to achieve the purpose of automatic operation.

There are two types of fuel dispensers commonly used: fixed fuel dispensers on the ground and suspended fuel dispensers.

The fixed fuel dispenser can make the position of the car clear. The procedure of refueling operation is not easy to be confused, the work efficiency is high, the price is low, the failure is few, and the maintenance is easy. However, it covers a large area and the refueling range is small. The vehicle must refuel within the predetermined range. Limited by the self-priming capacity of the self-priming pump of the fuel dispenser, the distance to the underground oil tank must not exceed 20-25m, and the suction height shall be 4m. Otherwise, the refueling of the fuel dispenser will be affected.

The suspended fuel dispenser can make full use of the limited space, and the fixed oil pipeline can move 12 meters horizontally; the fueling range is large and the radius can reach more than 4 meters; The refueling vehicle can be freely carried in, without affecting the vehicle traffic; the fueling quantity is displayed on the screen. However, the parking location is not clear, which is easy to cause confusion in operations; the equipment is expensive, and it is difficult to repair failures. It is necessary to separately equip the pump room and lengthen the pipeline, which increases the total investment.
