What is equivalent material of GB Q345B grade steel

GB Q345B grade steel, Q460 material is a low-alloy high-strength steel. Q stands for the strength of steel. 460 means that plastic deformation occurs only when the strength of the steel reaches 460MPa. That is, when the external force is released, the steel can only maintain the shape of the force and cannot return to its original shape. This strength is greater than that of ordinary steel. Tensile strength is 550-720MPa, elongation: 17%, Q460 material is made by adding Cr, N, V, Ti and other alloying elements on the basis of 16Mn steel.

As the boiler steel plate GB Q345B grade steel is working under medium temperature (below 350 ℃) and high pressure, the boiler steel plate is not only subjected to high pressure, but also subjected to impact, fatigue load and water and gas corrosion. EN 10025-2 is standard for hot rolled products of structural steels. EN 10025-2 steel grades are GB Q345B grade steel, S235JR, S235J0, S235J2 (S235 series); S275JR, S275J0, S275J2 (S275 series); S355JR, S355J0, S355J2, S355K2 (S355 series); and S450J0. The numbers 235, 275, 355, 450 indicates the min. yield strength for thickness ≤16mm. For example, when the thickness ≤16mm, the min. yield strength for S235 series steel is 235Mpa, S275 series steel is 275Mpa, S355 series steel is 355Mpa, and S450J0 steel is 450Mpa.
