Most of the 35CrMo grade steel steel materials used in industrial boilers are carbon steel materials. Chemical composition of Q215A steel: C: ≤ 0.15, Si: ≤ 0.30, Mn: ≤ 1.20, P ≤: 0.045, S ≤: 0.050. Q215A steel has low carbon and manganese content. Q215A steel strength is slightly higher than Q195 steel strength. 35CrMo grade steel, Q215A steel has good plasticity, good toughness, weldability and process performance. Q215A steel is mainly used in plant building, bridge components, tower, derrick and vehicle and ship manufacturing components.

Quenching is a heat treatment process in which steel parts are heated to above the critical temperature, and after proper heat preservation, the parts are quickly cooled to room temperature in water or oil, so that martensite transformation occurs. The hardness of the quenched 35CrMo grade steel increases sharply. Quenching is to prepare the organization for adjusting and improving the performance of 35CrMo grade steel during tempering, while tempering determines the performance and life of the workpiece.
