Thermal Power Plant Application Case
The cylinder liner of the medium-speed coal mill uses NM400 wear-resistant steel plate, 6-10mm thick, formed by flame cutting. This effectively resists coal dust erosion and extends equipment life. During cutting, preheating to bright red is required, and after oxygen is applied, the iron slag should fly off immediately, preventing slag buildup. Flame cutting is low-cost, but the heat-affected zone is large, so attention must be paid to controlling the cutting speed and nozzle height.
Coal Yard Application Case
The lining of the feeding chute and hopper uses NM400 wear-resistant steel plate, 6-10mm thick, processed by flame cutting. During cutting, oil and rust must be removed, the workpiece should be elevated to leave a gap, and the airflow line must be straight and clear. Flame cutting has low site requirements, but the cutting speed is slow, and attention should be paid to preheating and optimizing cutting parameters.
Construction Machinery Application Case
Construction machinery parts use NM500 wear-resistant steel plate, 8-12mm thick, processed by plasma cutting. Plasma cutting is fast and efficient, with cutting speeds exceeding 10m/min, but requires the purchase of a matching power supply, resulting in higher initial costs. During cutting, attention should be paid to controlling the bevel angle to form a V-shaped cut to avoid cutting cracks.
