Boiler steel plates for room temperature and medium temperature (below creep temperature) are mostly carbon steel, including carbon steel, carbon manganese steel, carbon manganese silicon steel, HARDOX400 steel material, etc. They are mainly used in the manufacture of pressure-bearing parts such as boiler drums and header end covers below medium temperature. High temperature (above creep temperature) boiler steel plates are mainly used to manufacture high-temperature pressure-bearing parts such as high-temperature header end caps and steam pipe blocking plates.

There is an inherent difference between the cold forming properties of low-alloy high-strength steel and carbon structural steel. First of all, a certain amount of permanent deformation of low-alloy high-strength steel requires greater force than HARDOX400 steel material, carbon structural steel of the same size. Second, when low-alloy high-strength steel is formed, a slightly larger allowable amount for springback should be given. According to experience, unless the low-alloy high-strength steel is processed to control the shape of inclusions, it is necessary to use a larger bending radius than carbon structural steel during cold forming.

We published "Welding Procedure Qualification report" after production. And our mill will keep the test record in the documentary department for 5 years. If meet any problems in following application, we can check the test record easily and assist to solve problems at the first time.
