On May 22, the national cold rolled  and hot rolled plates market price were generally stable, and the market price of plate products in the southwest region showed an obvious upward trend. The average price rose by about 20 yuan / ton on a daily basis.

From the perspective of demand, currently, downstream industries such as automobiles and home appliances have been fully resumed, and production and sales have improved compared with the first quarter. According to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in April, as the domestic epidemic prevention and control situation gradually improved, the production and sales volume of the automotive industry continued to pick up. In April, automobile production and sales exceeded 2 million units, slightly higher than the same period last year. Among them, the decline in the production and sales of passenger vehicles has narrowed significantly, and the monthly production and sales of commercial vehicles have reached a record high.

At the same time, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other 7 departments jointly issued the "Implementation Plan on Improving the Recycling System of Waste Home Appliances to Promote the Renewal and Consumption of Home Appliances". Business platform, through holding "anniversaries", shopping festivals and other activities, carry out household appliances trade-in activities covering urban and rural areas; promote household appliances products to update and upgrade; encourage enterprises to accelerate product innovation iterations and optimize product functions.
