Special boiler steel is derived from carbon structural steel, Steel EN10025-2 S235JR alloy plate. The expression of boiler steel grade is similar to that of high-quality carbon structural steel, and the carbon content is usually 0.20%. The chemical composition of boiler steel is basically the same as that of high-quality carbon structural steel of the same brand, but the mechanical properties are strictly required, especially the impact toughness, and the aging sensitivity is required to be small. After deoxidation and removal of non-metallic inclusions, boiler steel has a uniform structure, the grain size is controlled at 3-7 grade, and the defects such as interlayer, shrinkage, porosity and porosity are relatively less.

Tempering includes high temperature tempering, medium temperature tempering and low temperature tempering. Tempering means to reheat the Steel EN10025-2 S235JR alloy plate quenched steel to a certain temperature and then cool it in a certain way. Tempering can reduce or eliminate the internal stress produced by quenching, reduce the hardness and strength, and improve the ductility or toughness of steel. After Steel EN10025-2 S235JR alloy plate quenching, the workpiece should be tempered in time, and the required mechanical properties can be obtained through the combination of quenching and tempering.
