Therefore, API 5L PSL2 steel strength is higher than API 5L PSL1 steel strength. For example, API 5L X42 PSL2 yield strength is 317-524 MPa, tensile strength is 434-758 MPa. While API 5L X42 PSL1 yield strength is 290 MPa min. , tensile strength is 414 MPa min.
