The limitation of the content of the Mn element differs depending on the thickness of the A36 steel plate, and the A36 steel plate of 20 mm or less does not contain Mn. The S355NL steel plate, Q235 steel plate has requirements for the contents of C, Si, Mn, S, P and other elements. But SS400 steel plate only requires S and P to be less than 0.050, and no other element requirements.
