Mexico launched the third anti-dumping sunset review of American longitudinal seam carbon steel pipe

On April 30, 2020, the Ministry of Economy of Mexico announced in the official gazette that, at the application of the Mexican enterprise Tubacero,S.deR.L.deC.V., it was decided to launch the third anti-dumping sunset review and filing investigation on the longitudinal seam carbon steel pipe (Spanish: tuberíadeaceroalcarbonoconcosturalongitudinalrecta) originating in the United States. The resolution shall come into force the day after its promulgation. The dumping investigation period of this case is from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2019. The TIGIE tax numbers of the products involved are 7305.11.01 and 7305.12.01.

On May 27, 2005, Mexico announced in the official gazette that it would make a final anti-dumping decision on the longitudinal seam carbon steel pipe originating in the United States: 6.77% of the anti-dumping duty would be levied on the products involved in the case of BergEuropipeHoldingCorporation, an American enterprise, and 25.43% of the anti-dumping duty would be levied on the products involved in the case of other exporters from the United States. On November 18, 2011, Mexico announced in the official gazette that it would make the final determination of the first anti-dumping sunset review on the products originated in the United States: it would impose 4.04% anti-dumping duty on the products involved in the United States enterprise BergSteelPipeCorporation, and extend the validity of the anti-dumping duty determined in the original final determination announcement for five years. On July 11, 2016, Mexico announced in the official gazette that it would make the final determination of the second anti-dumping sunset review for the products involved originated in the United States, and extend the anti-dumping duties determined in the original final determination announcement and the final determination announcement of the first anti-dumping sunset review again.
