Mechanical properties and application of StE285 steel material

Tianjin warehouse mainly stores steel plates and steel pipes. The monthly replenishment is about 12000 tons. Our inventory cycle is short and flexible. Shanghai warehouse mainly stores StE285 steel material ,steel plate and section steel. The average monthly purchase volume is about 15000 tons. The geographical location of the warehouse has greatly improved our performance in terms of transportation and delivery time.

Processing performance of quenched and tempered steel: StE285 steel material plate can be used for cold working, bending and cutting. When the gas is cut off, cracks will not occur even without preheating. When preheating processing, quenched and tempered steel needs to be processed below the tempering temperature. Superb wear and corrosion resistance: Because it contains alloy elements such as copper and chromium, it has good corrosion resistance, higher hardness, and good wear resistance compared with ordinary steel.

We exported 2150 Tons SG295 steel coils to Sudan. The Sudan customer is LPG cylinder manufacturer. Before our cooperation, he usually purchased SG295 steel coils from UAE and Turkey. And he got to know our company through our regular customers in Uganda, UAE, and his friends in China. Then he gave us the order. We invited the customer to visit us before contract, but he insisted to visit us when the StE285 steel material goods are finished production. After inspecting the size, package in workshop and witness the lab test for the SG295 steel coils, the customer was very satisfied to our quality control and professional arrangement.

As for the mechanical properties of StE285 steel material, ASTM A572 Gr.50, 345 Mpa is the yield point levels most closely approximating a geometric progression pattern between 36 ksi min yield point steels covered by Specification A36/A36M and 100ksi min yield point steels covered by Specification A514/A514M.
