26SiMnMo (GY5) is armored bulletproof steel, code-named GY4, with good ballistic performance, welding performance and mechanical processing performance. The mechanical properties of 20MnV steel are as follows: tensile strength 785 MPa, yield strength 590 MPa, elongation after fracture 10%, reduction of area 40%, impact absorption energy 55 J. JIS G3106 SM520B grade steel, 20MnV steel has good properties, good strength, toughness and plasticity, good hardenability and machinability. After carburizing, 20MnV steel can be directly quenched without secondary quenching to improve the core structure. The weldability of 20MnV steel is good, but there is temper brittleness at 300-360 ℃ during heat treatment.

Normalizing is to heat the steel parts to 30~80℃above the critical temperature for a period of time. Then the parts are taken out of the furnace and cooled in air. Since the cooling rate of normalizing is faster than that of annealing, the strength and hardness of normalized JIS G3106 SM520B grade steel are higher than that of annealed JIS G3106 SM520B grade steel, but the elimination of internal stress is not as good as annealing. The normalizing operation of JIS G3106 SM520B grade steel is simple, the cost is low, the productivity is high, and it is widely used in actual production.

As for Q460 series low alloy steel, there are three quality Grade C, D, E. JIS G3106 SM520B grade steel, Q460C steel plates are mainly used in various large-scale engineering structures and light-weight structures that require high strength and large load. Q460C steel mechanical properties: Q460C yield strength MPa in different thickness: ≤16mm: ≥460; 16-40mm: ≥440; 40-63mm: ≥420; 63-80mm: ≥400; 80-100mm: ≥400; 100-150mm: ≥380. The tensile strength MPa: 550-720.Elongation: ≥17%.Impact test: 0 ℃ impact test: ≥34J.
