Q960 quenched and tempered steel grade classification: Q960C, Q960D, Q960E, Q960F. The product SA588 Gr A weathering steel plate thickness is not more than 150MM. Q960 quenched and tempered steel has high yield strength and tensile strength, and its resistance to brittle failure is also great. Q960 quenched and tempered steel has excellent low temperature toughness, so it can be used in large welded structural parts and low temperature environments.

Q235 steel grades cover Q235A, Q235B, Q235C and Q235D. Other than Q235A, the other three Q235 steel grades needs impact test. Charpy V-notch specimen is used for impact toughness test. The impact toughness index is Akv. Q235 steel plates are widely used because of its moderate carbon content, good comprehensive performance, good coordination of strength, plasticity and welding performance.

After final forging/forming and Heat treatment process, all the pipe Fittings, Flanges, Fasteners, Etc. are sent for machining i.e. and preparation, O/D and I/D matching as per dimensional codes. An Expert Q.C. engineer is involved and he keeps constant vigil on every machining operation. Step machining is carried out as required by the codes. GO and NO-GO gauges are used to check the O/D & I/D of the fittings, Flanges, etc.
