ASTM A387 Gr 22 Cl1 alloy steel plate

ASTM A387 Gr22 Cl1 is a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel plate designed for high-temperature pressure vessels and implemented in accordance with ASTM/A387M standards. It contains 2.00-2.50% chromium and 0.90-1.10% molybdenum, has excellent high-temperature corrosion resistance and creep resistance, and is suitable for harsh environments such as petrochemicals and nuclear power.

A387 Gr 22 Cl1 steel plate is delivered in a normalized and tempered state, and "CL1" means that it has undergone high-standard ultrasonic testing to ensure that there are no internal defects. Its mechanical properties are stable, and the yield strength can reach more than 310MPa, while maintaining good weldability and processability.

ASTM A387 Gr 22 Cl1 alloy steel plate is mainly used in hydrogenation reactors, turbine cylinders and other equipment, and the corresponding domestic grade is 12Cr2Mo1R. Compared with the CL2 level, CL1 has stricter requirements on material purity and flaw detection, and is suitable for scenarios with higher safety requirements.
