Cold rolled steel sheet has high strength, high hardness, high surface finish and is generally thin plate, which can be used for stamping. The production process of A572 Grade 60 HSLA Steel, hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel plates is different. Hot rolled steel plate is rolled at high temperature, while cold rolled steel plate is rolled at normal temperature. Generally speaking, cold-rolled steel plate has better strength and hot-rolled steel plate has better ductility.

Both the cross rolling method and the extrusion method must first heat the tube blank or ingot, and the steel tube produced is called hot rolling tube. Steel pipes produced by hot working can sometimes be cold worked as required. There are two methods of cold working: one is cold drawing, that is, drawing the A572 Grade 60 HSLA Steel steel pipe through the drawing die to make the steel pipe gradually thin and elongate; the other is cold rolling, which is the method of applying the hot rolling mill invented by the menesmann brothers to cold working. The cold working of A572 Grade 60 HSLA Steel seamless steel pipe can improve the size accuracy and finish of steel pipe, and improve the mechanical properties of materials.

In 2016. Our company offer 1200 tons API 5L GR.B hot rolled coil to Bangladesh——100 tons for 3.9*625mm, and 1100 tons for 7*683mm. It is one tender project, we get the tender at the end of 2015, and arrange the production in 2016. They required the tolerance of thickness is +0.1/-0.2mm, and width tolerance is +/-0.5mm, which is a very high requirement for coil tolerance, but our mill handling this very well. and our Q/C department witness all of the process.
